Micromax Launches Windows OS based devices

Micromax speeding into Windows OS and announcing two handsets in the segment-

Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 which are powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1

Specs Of Canvas Win W092:

  Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 Processor with 1.2GHz Quad core CPU

·         4-inch IPS display

·         Windows Phone 8.1 OS

·         1500mAh battery

·         1GB RAM ; 8GB ROM

·         5MP rear camera with flash and 0.3 front facing camera.

·         Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz Quad core processor

·         5-inch HD IPS display

·         Windows Phone 8.1 OS

·          2000mAh li-polymer battery

·         1GB RAM and 8GB ROM

The Canvas Win W092 is priced at Rs 6,500 and Canvas Win W121 is priced at Rs 9,500 and will be available by the end of July 2014.

New Micromax Unite 2: Rival for Moto E

New Micromax Unite 2 is launched in the market and will be priced at the same level of Moto E. Initially the device was set to launch at higher price but after the launch of highly successful Moto E sweeping away sales in India. Micromax has therefore placed the price of Unite 2 at much lower.

Micromax Unite 2 will come with Android 4.4.2 kitkat out of the box and will get ‘Over the Air Update’ and it will be one of the few handsets in India that will support 21 Indian languages. This is a very well attempt from Micromax to make it mark against the giants like Motorola and the only question is that will Micromax can deliver a good quality and performance wise high quality device. And adding 21 local languages into the device gives it a nice local touch. The specs of the device is good and the looks beautiful. However the question remains can it capture the market like rival devices.
